I had just turned 65, when one day walking through Walmart, and a man sitting at a Medicare table asked if I would like my Medicare card laminated, and as he did the laminating, he asked me if I had additional coverage besides Medicare. I had no idea what he was talking about, and I really thought that even as a new senior, I was in excellent health. Little did I know that just a month after our talk and I had signed up, I would have to call 911 to take me to the hospital for a severe acid reflux attack, which quickly turned into a very close encounter with a heart attack situation. Thank the Lord, I survived it all and because of Mr. Baker, (my angel on earth), I was totally covered for a bill that would have been over $70k. I paid $0. I am so very grateful and I love that, Ron almost 2 years later, still takes the time to call and give me updates on the policy, and just check on me to see how I am doing.
